MOVED: Gurnade is looking to hire! A Great Opportunity!
Fellow choppers, I‘d like to present a great opportunity for you to earn some money, gain some awesome exposure, and meet some great contacts—all while doing what you love! Chopping! Here is the information you need to know:
The Backstory: As many of you already know, I’ve found much success in the automotive realm. More recently, I’ve worked with the best builders in the States, including Neil Tjin, Brian Fox, Vincent Wong, Pete Collelo, etc. With the help of my partners, my imagery has won clients over $200,000 of free vehicles. I work hand-in-hand with Tjin Edition, Fox Marketing, Iforged Wheels, Veilside, Seibon, Turbochargers, Aicona, Real Autoworks, Veilside, and Bomex. As a result, I’ve had great opportunities working with OEM’s including Ford, GM, Chevy, Scion, Lexus and Lincoln.
Why It Matters to You: As a result of our recent success, my business partners and I have decided to make a company—to solidify and further our current position in the industry. However, we are growing at a very quick rate, and therefore are on the search for more artists! Contrary to other positions, you will be working for our company, Gurnade —showcasing your work to the most well-known builders and working on the most important builds. In short, Gurnade is looking to hire 1-2 new artists, who are exceptionally good automotive artists and graphic designers.
Let me stress, this is a great opportunity to have your designs in front of Ford, GM, Lexus, Scion, etc. Our renderings are built into real cars and win huge shows. In November, three Gurnade designed vehicles went to SEMA, one won the GM Design Award, BEST of Show, the other won $15,000 for Best Scion, the other received national fame in the Lexus booth.
Who We Are Looking For: We are looking for artists in the advanced to elite levels. If you aren’t at that level yet, don’t worry! Link us to your portfolio in this thread and my team will look at each one individually. There is also an opportunity to grab our attention (and win some money) at the Gurnade Competition, which will be posted shortly. Most importantly, we are looking for well-rounded artists who can follow Gurnade's design ideas and passion.
You must be: 16 years or older and be able to speak English well and clearly. You will also be required to create a PayPal account so you can be paid.
What We Expect: At Gurnade, our projects greatly vary from a new lip kit design, to designing full dollar cars, proposals, ad development, logos, business cards, product design, etc. We expect our artists to be comfortable in all aspects of design. Additionally, our artists must be able to work according to a deadline, and at times manage more than one project at a time.
What It Entails: If hired, you will be working under the Gurnade name—meaning all work must be of the highest quality. No Exceptions. You will work on a per project basis, and your compensation will follow the same format. There may be weeks when you are very busy with us, and other times when you are not. This should not be considered a full time position, nor salaried. All projects will share copyright with Gurnade, and we retain the right to use them at our discretion.
Your Compensation: You will be paid for your time on a per-project basis. Payment amounts greatly vary depending upon the amount of work needed. Obviously, a large promo car for Ford will take considerably more time than a logo. Payment specifics will be discussed on an individual level, once we have chosen some of our potential artists. Payments will be sent via PayPal if outside the States, and company check if within. Creating a PayPal account will be your responsibility.
What You Need to Do: First, make a post in this thread telling me that you are interested in this opportunity AND link us to your portfolio.
Secondly, we are hosting a cash prize competition here at Autemo.com which will allow us to give a sample project. I highly suggest all those interested in joining our team to participate in the competition. Please see the Competition section (Misc. Competitions) for further details.
The GURNADE COMPETITION: Here at Autemo.com, there will be a cash prize competition. This competition will go on simultaneously as the WTB. Unfortunately, we simply do not have time to wait for the WTB to end, and it will also allow us to see who is really serious about working with us. The format of the competition will be greatly different, but very fun, than other competitions in the past. Look for further details in the Competition section of Autemo.com. I highly suggest all those interested in joining our team to participate in the competition.
Thank you for your interest, please reply in this thread if you are SERIOUSLY interested in joining our team and please remember to link us to your portfolio.
