Hello.

I just realized that I've been active in the car photoshopping corner of the world for almost a decade. That is a long time. When I started out it was only for my own great enjoyment, but from 2004 it more and more grew to a professional level. Since 2006 I almost exclusively photoshop on a professional basis, with very limited presence on forums etc.

In the older days of photoshopping (pre-2006) I was known under the alias "carweb". Since then I've started a one-man strong company by the name of Automotiv. The name is a pun, abbreviating the word "automotive" and the swedish word for photo design and composition, "motiv". My real name is Erik Andrén, by the way.

Today I work full time as a freelance illustrator and motoring journalist at one of Sweden's biggest car magazines, making predictions of future car models, amongst other things. The plans for the future include however to take a master exam in industrial design and development engineering.

Except Photoshop, I have experience using programs such as Illustrator and Corel Draw (both vector graphics), Solid Edge (3D CAD), Flash (online interactivity) and Premiere Pro (movie composing). I also have knowledge of programming in XHTML, PHP and Java.
