people say photoshop but theres that many can people give me any sugestions

Well it depends on how much time you´ll going to spend to
the work with it. For chopping, PS is surely a very good choice.
Im working with PS too, but i also use Gimp as well, cause in Gimp
are some features, which were better to use than in PS. IMHO.
Gimp also do have very cool filters. I dont wanna be the judge, who
whats to decide which prog. is the better one. If you are going to
specify your Q. a lil bit more, maybe the result will be much greater.

Personally, I use Corel Paint Shop Pro (XI), is also a Photoshop CS3 disk exists, but I have not even installed the computer. I like this program, but, of course, especially in the beginning was a small problem, for example when you used the tutorials was to apply a lot.

I myself am entirely satisfied with this program, I am not going to change anything.

Paint shop Pro 7 is a very good and easy to use program, but unfortunatly useless for any kind of resizing of images (meaning you more or less need donors in the same size as your chop , and use an uploading service that offers resizing to post on forums)

I would definetely say Photoshop hehe. I've tried gimp and i didnt like it

The only thing, that is in GIMP still missing
and what makes it a lil bit more complicated,
is the missing feature to build folders. So if u
or anybody would like to creat chops with very much
layers, you have to creat different data sets to
prevent loosing the overview of your work.
