Hey! Really cool design there mate! 
You've got the basis of a good brush there too, as what you've added matches the original reflections of the car - if you can do this, and successfully brush matching reflections you'll go a long way.
Yes it does look a tiny little bit tooney, but that's more to do with the colour that you've changed it to, studio red doesn't change to blue very easily. It's also perhaps a little too light for the bg
That said, it's a very good effort. Perhaps try with an outdoor base to start off with next time? Anyway, really liking this - keep it up
