I have pretty much decided to buy a new laptop.

And I have almost settled on an ASUS G73JW 17,3"

I am not a computer gamer but I want a good graphic card for playing HD movies on my 40" Samsung and running Flash and stuff smoothly.
Also I really like the ventilation setup on that one.

So I am wondering if anyone here has any experience with one?

mac is too expensive! but for sure, the better! The Azus seems not bad

I personally do not like the laptop, I have a landline, it is more sturdy and reliable and I can edit in my own way!

Asus is always good, I'd agree on one too.

-Mac's are good but considering the amount you pay for, you can get a much better spec Pc, so I actually rate a PC over mac, plus there are alot more compatible programs on windows.

-@ srtdesign, you can use land line on a Laptop, that's what the Ethernet connection port is for

There's always got to be one of those darn mac fanboys somewhere doesn't there!
Word to that. Asus & Sony = fine. Acer = no. Toshiba, now I thought these were great - And that was until I got one.. I've had 2 major problems with mine. Pain in the ass. I got 12mths out of it.

Regarding mac's I was considering getting a macbook air. But the price is a bit unjustly. Plus I'd only want to put windows or linux on it anyway, its' just its cool slimline case that I was after...

I had 2 Acer's over 6 years and no problems with them =)

Only apple's I want in my house are ones I can eat. The Stealth fighter case is so much doper than the slimline case anyway
