Videography.

Anyone here into videography?

Well, you guessed right. I am!
Started when I got my Canon 550D. For some months I only had the original EF-s 18-55mm IS lens, which I now know alot of DSLR videographers use these days. So I was lucky there.

History
By the end of August 2008, a little new thing came that would turn the mighty film industry to a new leve. The first ever DSLR with video capabilities were released, and the film revolusion were a fact.
The quality shoed to be so good that they were compared to Hollywoods million dollar cameras, but for a fraction of the price.

This have lead to a great ammount of more and less successfull videos online. Some from experienced procuers wanting to show the world their talents, and newcomers (like me) wanting to take their first steps when it comes to videography.

It IS challenging to make a film with a camera mainly constructed for photography. Just as challenging to write a good script, find good actors, and get a good quality on audio. I have made several small commercial videos for the store I work at, just for fun. What is really exciting is that one of my friends has a girlfriend, working as a market coordinator for ASKO (some company in norway), and they wanted me to shoot a promotional video for them. You have no idea how excited I am! Also, my friend is a experienced wedding photographer, so he asked me if I wanted to be a part of his small company - shooting video at weddings he attends as a photographer!

But for now, Im saving for shoulder rigs. This to get more stable shots.

I really would love to do such videos. But first I need the right equipment.
So, what do you think?
