Hi Fellow Autemolians!!!!

I was having a chat to Ironchop the other day, and I never knew how expensive it was to run this place (Monthly server cost and backups.)

Now, I'm a really generous person (and a big forum whore), So this light-bulb occurred to me: Why don't we make a Donation area?

Ways to send money:
Maybe via paypal, bank transfer,or check, i know most people here are like 16 -18 so don't have much income, but I think it doesn't matter if it's $2, $50 $1000, Every bit helps and keep this place running and less stress on the MK211or Ironchop's wallet.
In return we the users get a professional(-ish ) stable website that wont go down like Digimods .

How it should work:
ONE Admin creates a account for all the money to be deposited into, then creates a post of where the money should be sent to( BUT Dont post the password ), then the users sends you a PM as well as a post on this thread, saying they have sent the message.
After the money is received, admins should confirm it, by posting here. this way we know who donated as we'll as getting confirmation.

To add, here's another idea, maybe to any one that donates over $10-15 you get like a sticker or over $30 gets like 4 sticker or something.

A bit similar to what I'm thinking to do with the stickers actually. I just haven't had a chance to write that up properly yet .

Nah, if you were taking it too far Hui, it'd be like; anyone who donates over $2000 gets to have Mark at their house for a week. But seriously though - that'd be pimpin'.

Yup, I don't think $2000 donation is necessary, hehehe... the price of the stickers will be a bit less than that, hehe...

Oh, and autemo has a Paypal account that we use sometimes for clients that want to pay through paypal for some reason or another, so it's just waiting for me to write it up and find out how much the final vinyls we're getting done will cost .

The idea is good J and I'd certinly donate as much as I could from time to time to help run the costs of the Website, Forum & Server. I understand from IronChops and MK211 point of view - it is very costly and a lot of time to run the Site alone as everything is hand coded from scratch. I run my own Site & Forum from the help of other Staff and was paying the Server fee for a while which is expensive. I don't know how hard or easy it is over in Australia to find jobs, but see over here in the UK atm esepically where I am living in the small island of Northern Ireland.. It's nearly impossible to find a job.

Kind of rambling onto another subject there; but yes your idea is good. Where as the stickers are concerned it could be costly to post them to a different country for the requested member. Depends on how much they donate, I don't know what the costing fees are over there to ship small packages, but I know from the UK if I was to send something normal post to you'se it would take a lifetime. lol

I say go ahead and set it up, I'll definitely donate as I donated to CP Werks a few years back when he wasn't well; if a lot of you remember, I am sure some of you'se can also agree with me on that situation.
