Hi guys. I got inspiration to do this artwork by watching 'Independence'.

i worked on something very like this some months ago, never finished it..
I put the sun next to the earth, and the sun shot out big flaming "balls" that crashed onto earth
result was quite nice actually, too bad i didnt finish it.

Doing space photos is quite fun acctually, and not that hard to achieve a nice looking effect either

Pretty artisitc, but in general the explosion would need to be bigger.
