You have all become accustomed to the WTB, the idea simple, form a team with fellow countrymen, and create a teamchop based on a given image. Half of the contestants go through, until you are left with the final two teams to battle it out in the grand final.

But how about something else, leaving team chops out of it. Instead you compete individually, producing your own chop, winning not only points for yourself, but points for your country. This would mean that by the end, not only would we have a Champion of Choppers, but a Champion Country too. I would propose a structure as follows:

-Qualifying (Points Scored are counted)
-Group Stages (32 Choppers Progress to this Round, and compete in 4 groups - decided by results of qualifying)
-Last 16
-Quarter Final
-Semi Final
-Final
-Points tallied from all of the above rounds, winner of the final awarded some sort of prize and the winning country declared...

So what do you think?

Could this ^ Really become reality?
Could you be the next world champion?
Could your country be declared as the best chopping nation? Who knows...

this sounds like a cool idea, but there is one big problem
how about some countrys with less choppers?
one solution to it would be kinda like an average rate, by adding all of one countrys points together, and then divide with the amount of choppers
but, basically this would kinda like favour the countrys with one amazing chopper only
but, as idea the whole thing is nice, im interested in it

(ofcourse depending on what kinda baseimages there would be )

i had just been thinking the exact same thing..so yeh, working out an average score per country would be best
Or we could allocate fixed numbers per country, but that seems harsh
And base images - this is just an idea atm nordic, we might be the only ones to like it

But, who's gonna count the votes?
It's gonna be a hell of a job unless you use a poll or something.

For example: Autemo has 3211 members.
If 10% wants to be in this game, and 90% of them post a chop you got about 300 things to vote on.

Gonna take weeks to count everything!

Sounds like a great idea to me!

In regard to vote counting, I think Autemo needs some sort of automated polling system. The WTB voting is painful to count, so I think this needs to be designed before a comp like this is started.

Another idea is a panel of Judges who aren't competitors. The higher end choppers would be favoured for this (Advanced +). These could be admins, or choppers who are well renowned as honest and unbiased.

to me you just about copied off the ps-garage ultimate battle (which your in)
qualifying stages, last 16 etc, but changed a tiny bit
also there are way too many people on autemo for this

and it isn't one on one battles like the ps-g ultimate battle,
and the qualifying etc, is based on the world cup not the ps-g ultimate battle

the idea comes from my old one for the european chopping championships, only extended - and why too many people? who says everyone will enter? thanks though
