nice work dude, howd you do it? is it as simple as making alot of text layers and resising them and moving them around to make letters?

Exactly...Create a dark background and then your stroke or in other words fill the parts where at the end should be the letters in white color and reduce the opacity. Then start with filling these areas with several text layers, change the size, move them etc.! The way you said it.

how long did it take ?

It cost 3 1/2 hours. I was bored cause at home we had problems with network connection and tv...so nothing else to do
