It's cool that you made it shorter, but I think it's too short now... looks like a smart or some other non cool car. The styling and feel of the car is great, but it looks too short.

I think it has potential so keep at it, and consider making it longer again, maybe not 4 door, but instead elongate the door rather then to chop the car i half.

Cool BG as well, could look really cool if you can realistic refs to it
