looks nice, hood is toony(lines), and refs are wierd.....nice idea, but execution can bee better

Not too bad. The style of mods is ok. But the brushing on the top of the front bar stands out most. It doesn't blend in with the other body parts. Try to follow the reflections that already exist on the other body panels next to it. The front bar is also a tad off centre (shifted to the left). I've quickly done them to show you as an example: see how i've made front bar less toony by making it match the other body panels better. I've also moved the right hand side of the front bar/intercooler across a bit more (using the lights as reference)
