The badge and the background looks alright.
I don't like the types. It would be better if they kind of blend in with the badge or if they'd be more of the same style as the badge (like having all that rust and everything on them too). Now they look like they've been just thrown on the badge without thought.
It bothers me that the "21" isn't in the middle since it doesn't look like it's got a good reason to be a little on the left like that. Would look better if it was bigger too. The font choice is alright.
