Nissan 370z || by Luke Jones

Latest chop from me, I had a lot of fun with this one...first full chop done using my tablet. Kind of learned the feel of it on the last chop I did and think I'm getting the hang of it now. Huge thanks to the wip watchers, I learned a few things on this one. Hopefully is shows. :D Kit /body work is all brushed. Headlights are brushed/modified from the stockers. FMIC and wheels are c+p but both are modified.

Thanks for looking :)

Thanks guys :D

And rich, I had thought to use that technique to add some new body lines through the middle of the door (from fender to fender) but didn't want to get carried away and lose that cleaner look. :) Really appreciated your advice on this one :-d

hello dude, love the design! new lights are really cool . the only thing i don't like on your chop is the color, it looked better with the more strong yellow like on the base. like the outcome! :-d
car town @ facebook
Looks good! :)
Lets start with the design! :-d
The new design you have made looks Good, And is quite aggressive.. Sorta reminds me of an old Nissan 350z i did on NFS underground 2 if remind correctly... :)
If we also jump straight onto the brushing,
It is ok brushed, also quite toony. However tis could be fixed quite easily imo.

* - The side vent you made by the Rear arch, imo it has too strong "outer" shadow ( the transaction between the shadow and the Body paint that is. I believe it should "flow" together quite more, as that would make it look better.

* - The sideskirt acctually have mixed Quality of brush. :/ wich is quite sad as if you would have managed to make it all in one good quality it would look a bit better. However, if you watch some parts on the Right side Parts like the littlelip and such looks really real! However the further back we get ( to the lighter areas ) it once again gets more toony.
And as i said about the side vent, It is once again too strong transaction with the shadows.

If we move on the the rims.
The rear rim looks good, and is well placed! quite good quality of what i can see aswell.
However if we take a look at the front rim there is the problem that it looks like its turning a littlelittle bit away from us. Wich kinda ruins the feeling imo.

Now imo the bg and the car seems to look like its coming towards us! so i would say change the rims and make the Front wheel turn a littlelittle bit towards us instead! i think that would improve the feeling of it immensly!

Now we jump onto the Hood,
I think it lacks quite alot quality acctually, still looks somewhat good though!.
If you watch how carbon looks on real cars with a sunny Background it is very "shiny" in some places!
Like this : carbon_hood.jpg

So if you would have taken this mesh forexample (wich is believe would have worked better).
17037644.jpg
Then put the layer to " Overlay " ( i think ) and lower the ocapacity somewhat, (fiddle around with it until it looks proper).
Then erasing some of the mesh where the hood is "flatting" out.

But a very nice chop, with a nice design!
keep it up! :-d
