Honda Civic EK9 (Its been a while)

Hi guys, well what can i say, its been quite a while since i have photoshopped, in fact i think about 6 years ago. Back then i was promoted to an intermediate artist after my S2000 and Lancer EVO chop (both were for Autemo comps and are in my profile if you wanna check em out) which i can see now the intermediate section no longer exists, so i guess im back to being a novice lol Anyway after being away for so long i'm back now with this chop of a Honda Civic.

All modifications are either 100% brushed (hood bra, D/S headlight, sideskirt lip, rear spoiler & tow harness) or partly/mostly brushed (wheels, background & reflections).

I was going for a mean street/show car look, something you would most likely see at a Spocom event or something.

Oh man just had a look on your profile and the Evo you've done is rad!

As for the civic it is definitely very cool and I love your brushing style. The only thing I noticed straight away was the lighting on the car dont match the background, I can see shadow on the floor under the front bumper but the front bumper itself is the same lighting as the rest of the car, that area should be darken just a bit.

and maybe a little bit more contrast on the tyres so it blends in with the floor better.

But really loving your photoshopping style, keep up the good work dude! Giving your Chop a plug on facebook for sure :D

Nice work! :-d
First thing I noticed unmentioned, though, some of the highlights on the car got a greenish tone. Might be due to Your screen being too bright for You to notice, You should check that. Also, there's this slight fade effect on the background (even the darkest of shades are dark blueish) that the car doesn't match. Other than that, pay a little more attention of detail to brushes, especially color-wise, and You'll be even better.
That'd be a solid 9 from me. :)
Thanks for the comment ZSN, the green highlights I put there on purpose to show as if the car has undergone a custom paint job where a limeish green metallic pearl has been painted over the original yellow ek9 paint, as I have only put it in where the lights shines the most as this is where it would be most evident, but I probably should have stated that in the original post, lol my bad, and I probably shud have executed it a little better too, at the same time if u look at the chop as a whole I think it gives u that idea, but still a skill I'm working on. Thanks for constructive criticism guys πŸ‘πŸΌ
