Ahh so a lot darker and heavier stuff to say the least,
I personally don't listen to much of it but i must say some of it is impressive, I used to listen to happy hardcore which I guess is the happy version haha
During work i listen to a fair bit of Dash berlin, or A state of trance that samvesters here got me into.
Been giving martin garrix a go as well as alesso, gorgon city and the the usual clavin harris, avicii.

Myon and shane 54 does a good podcast too.

But im mainly a chilled guy so I listen to hed kandi mixes Which is the disco house stuff.

I love a state of trance! Not a huge fan of Dash berlin tbh. Martin Garrix is cool but I prefer stuff he features in compared to his own stuff, if you like Martin Garrix I suggest DVBBS as they're really good.

Gorgon City and Alesso are pretty cool and chilled, Calvin Harris and Avicii are good but I rarely listen to them as they're always on the radio, in the UK atleast.
2 people liked this.

Fair enough, I understand why people don't like the more mainstream EDM and I don't just listen to it i listen to some more underground stuff and some older stuff swell its just i thought it would be easier to start a thread with people that many will know rather than someone unknown.

I used to dj... in my bedroom haha. Ive tried producing too but never got very far with it.

I was lucky enough to see prodigy on the 18th of December 2012 on one of their the end of the world shows. Im only 18 now so I'm not old enough to witness the best of prodigy:/. Also the prodigy where the first act I saw properly live (not with family)
ah you still have loads of time if you fancy starting dj'ing or producing.
youre so lucky to have seen them man. you see them just announce their uk tour? sold out instantly and missed on tickets :(
where about you from?
