looks rather toony, but I like it so far!

rear wheel off and low res. I agree about the toony look but once you get a bg you will find refs easier. Your brushing style is very much based around curves, which it shouldn't be on a straight car, especially on a boxy silvia. It almost looks as it has been chiseled out of a boulder keep it up

Looks better but i still dont really think it is quite correct for some reason anyways thought i'd do something quick to show you what i believe it should look like..

this for now is what i call the basic brush ( i think)

and then .. when i brush everything (basic brush)
then i star to add strokes to look like the sideskirt.. or i'll try
