Hey Autemolian!

Because there will be some changes to Autemo soon, I would love to hear from you guys what you want to added to the site as well as things to fix! This is YOUR chance to speak out and help make this community expand and improve!

We got some good ideas in the admin area already, but this is a forum by artists for artists, so I would love to get some suggestions from you as well instead of keeping everything a secret... Although we do have a few tricks up our sleeve.

There's no right or wrong, all good suggestions will be added to the Admin's secret to do database. Go on, get thinking!


-Fix forum clock!!!!!!!
-Create a new Competition area/ interface
-Create a grid or bar system for Comp voting
-Add automated closing on comps/ add countdown clock on comps and voting page
-Fix Search function
-Change Icons for Private message for read/ unread so its easier to see
-Create multi quote function
-Change Autemo Colour scheme (No more Green)
-Fix Profile chop upload errors

-Change featured chops on top of site to Latest chops (?)
-Remove like function (?)
-Keep or remove rating system(?)

Why not turn a new autemo design into a contest? Or open a topic where users can post suggestions? I've seen someone post new logos already so why not?

A switch to latest chops instead of featured might help novice choppers get more views and more help because of that, or do both? Just a button next to it to switch from featured to latest?

I'd keep the like function but remove the ratings, novice choppers and pro or elite choppers rate entirely different, pro's look more for details, mistakes, improvement possibilities, while novice choppers tend just to rate higher if they like what they see, but not look closer..

I would also bring back the intermediate level showroom, I'm probably not the only one kinda stuck between not feeling novice nor pro.. I've been chopping for almost 10 years now, I hardly call that novice, but I would not call myself a pro either..

If I come up with anything else, I'll certainly post it!

Don't lose the featured, i think its good, but we should have the latest chops next to/above/below it (whatever way it looks better).


I agree with dstrbd on the intermediate showroom, i mean, just look at the latest Mun's civic chop, it does not belong in the same showroom with someone who just has started chopping.

Start "Awards" option
Delete some awards like > All star , ASC Runner up, BPC Runner up, COTM Intermediate, etc.
Add some new awards

I think Instagram is more popular than Twitter . Removing Twitter and add an Instagram feature!

a mark all read button or code the "tick" so it will mark forum as read.
coding also needs fixed as quite often it says theres a new post on that forum when ive already seen it

remove like button unless you can see whos actually liked it

remove add friend as its so pointless and get nothing from it

-I wasnt planning on re-branding or creating a new logo but only re making the site, seeing MK211 created the site and logo back in 2009 I want to keep it for now as a tribute, but we'll see.

-I'll see if its possible to make a featured - latest chop, Im Just not sure how the website will be able to automatically generate a thumbnail of the chop to show on the top of the site, unless artists upload a separate image.

-I want to keep the like button but only if it is better incorporated into the site, right now it really doesnt do anything and you cant even see who liked it, and Im considering removing the Rating, but at the same time It might play a role in a feature we are adding soon.

-The only reason we merged new and Inter together is because there wasnt any activity in either, it does seem unfair but at the same time we were hoping artist would be motivated and want to move up to pro, Until we get more activity I think we'll keep it as 3 stages, I honestly think you are not far from pro yourself.
