It does need some work and testing to get it right (unless you use a preset metallic material or scanned values from somewhere). For the noise, or uneven surface in general, you could use a normal map or make a grainy image file for the specularity value. I'd say the normal map would look better on it.
I'm sure you can find some good stock images on deviantart made by someone who is willing to give it out for other people to use. I find that option to be much better than to use something from internet image search.
Maybe just write your name on the wheels?

For materials generally i use mental ray materials. It is make it yet. Sometimes i use noise in maps. I use the noise that it is in 3dmax. Ill try to make it more realistic.
Ill looking for more images in deviant without copyright that i can use it.
