Well i had a idea the other day as i have been struggling for inspiration when a good (imo) idea hit me.

What if there was a WIP exchange where people could post there unfinished projects which are likely to never be finished by them up on a post in a new section and people could offer one of there WIP's as a swap for which one they liked the look of. Each person could have 1 section where all there WIP's go to stop it from being cluttered and after they have swapped there WIP or have a new one they just edit the original/post a new post.

I personally would like to see this especially as i have never seen it before but many others may disagree so, thoughts and opinions?

If you think this would be a good idea it's fine to go ahead and make a thread in the Works In Progress section to exchange WIPs with other people. You can handle the details by PM. This doesn't seem like the staff needs to take the initiative and/or create a section for it.

However I must caution you that you need to be extremely careful when it comes to the transfer of copyright. When you exclusively trade your own work it's important to be aware but once you start trading donor - and therefor possibly copyrighted - material, the line has to be drawn much much faster.

This idea has actually been suggested a few times before, 2 or 3 times. Didn't really float, and not a whole lot people were interested. I for one wouldn't like anybody but me to work on my WIPs, same as I wouldn't like working on somebody else' WIP.

Anyway, yeah, go create the thread and see if you can work something out with it. If enough people show interest, we might grab the idea and build on to it
