Please tell me whether this staining technique is good, because I paint with a brush 2-4 px and it is as time-consuming

So you're just repainting the base but in the same colour?
I mean it can be good to practice brush technique and learn about reflections, but would it not be cooler in another colour, otherwise you're sort of just changing the backdrop.

As for the technique, I'd recommend using a larger brush, and brushing in very rough reflections over a panel on full opacity, it will look a bit messy, but then you go over it with the same brush on much lower opacity and gradually smooth out the colour. Save the 2-4px brushes for the small highlights
