I have a little problem with Photoshop CS5. Namely, for the first 10 minutes works perfectly but after some time the jam starts to the extent that it is impossible to work with. Someone had a similar problem?


Windows XP . Procesor x2 2,6ghz 2gb ram video card 256mb 2x1Tb hdd.

shouldn´t be anything with the hardware itself, perhaps something is broken but my old computer was way worse and itran photoshop fine for hours ( in some cases )

try to re-install it and see if it works. if it´s some pirate version, it´s probably the photoshop software that have some bugs.

The program is original. I CS6 pirate and has the exact same thing. But I installed the original version and still the same thing in CS5

Does it happen when its saving or working hard like after using Smudge tool or something else?

How much RAM are you giving it? It could just have a memory leak which would make everything crash too, eventually.

I have no problem with jamming the smudge or in the other steps. I have the perfect amount of allocated memory by what he writes to me in setting performance

It happens to me to a certain extent...
I use CS5, and when i've had it open for a few hours, with lots of copy and pasting of HiRes backdrops it really does start to lag up a lot.

Best way is to close it and open it again. But tbh with Ps, the more ram you have the better..

Instead of closing and opening Photoshop again ATC, go Edit - Purge - All and it will clear undo, history and your clipboard.
