Seat Leon

Finished after like 2 months on and off work lol, all the mods are brushed except the intercooler rims and mesh, i love how its come out, i think it really has the tuning company (hamann, rieger, je design etc.) feel to it which is what i was aiming for from the start.

So finally it's done! :) Followed the wips on this from the beginning and I must say that you did a good job, but there are still iessues to work on, but we will get to them later.

If we start with the design I like what you have done to it. The kit lowers the car without makeing the side look huge, which a lot of people often fail in doing. By making large sideskirts the car usually looks boxy and strange, but here it works great! Guessing it's the design on the sideskirt, which is quite original and really cool looking. The sideskirt design with the rounder hole was also a good choice since that same shape can be found on the lip, making them consistent. This adds to the harmony and entire look and feel of the chop and I like that. The main issue I have with the design is how you have mixed the round nice shapes, with the really harsh hole in the front! Neither of these designlines work really well with the rest of the car which has sort of a mix of harsh and soft lines. But as a kit it works quite well.

If we move over to quality I think you did a good job on the brushing. It's a bit toony, and the main reason for this is that you used quite monotome colors and didn't really look on the original cars when you picked the colors. For instance the highlights on the fb and ss are to bright. I see where you took the color from, and that was correct, but it should have been softer. This is however something your learn with time, and as I said, this is still good work :)

Overall a nice chop, wich shows that you have potential. Keep brushing and you will soon get better really quick! But remember to check the original often, and compare highlights, reflections and so on to see that they are the same or similar.

Cheers!

anyone else got any comments on this chop??

pretty nice/ok
the edges are bit washed out looking, since they are too white
overall nice anyways, i like the wheels
Cool looking chop, I like the body kit a lot. However, the execution of it isn't as good as the design. The fb selections are pointy, and as Nordic Man said, the edges are a bit washed out due to the white.
