So here´s my new ride. Got rid of the Audi 80 and purchased this beauty a couple of months ago.

It´s a 1991 VW Golf Mk2 GTI with a 79kw engine. Was looking for mk3 golfs but when this thing popped up for sale, I had to have it. Drove some 80km to go and see it, and after a thorough look and a test drive, I sealed the deal.

The car is in very good condition, the engine runs smooth and it has been serviced correctly and regularly. There are only two rust spots on the car, both around the front windshield. Otherwise the body is super clean, just needs a good polish because the paint is a bit faded, and some plastic refreshment.The chassis is in good shape as well, no noises or bangs under there.

Has some equipment on it as well, including MFA (computer which shows fuel consumption, outside temp etc) and air conditioning, which was a huge suprise. Didnt even know that mk2s were fitted with air con.

Plans: Get the car polished and plastics refreshed; new set of wheels, ideally two-piece BBS RM-s (Had a set of those for my audi, but had to sell them); maybe coilovers for some extra low

great little car mate, would look nice if the centre of the wheels where daker grey or black but nice wheels nonetheless =)
