Lately I've been considering getting a tablet, also because I don't know what ells I'd wish for for my birthday... So far I've been looking at the ASUS Nexus 7, coming out in October in Denmark, but also the ASUS Transformer Pad, as well as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.
I want it for porn, school work, and shits n giggles.
Only requirements are that it's not an iPad (matter of principles), and that it's not made by The Illuminati/Somali pirates.

Buy Ainol Novo anything. Ooor you can find some awesum pieces of chinese engineering on pandawill.com for reallyfakin cheap. The biggest problems with the N7 are: No SD card slot. (WTF?!! No built in 3G connection. But its a reference tab so it'll have sooo many updates after Jelly Bean.. But you can talk about it with walla he was the resident androidfetish geek here.

I don't mind not having 3G so much, seeing that I spend all my wake hours at places with WiFi, but I do find the 16 GB a wee bit annoying, but chances are that I'm not going to exceed that anyway either.

Idd who has a sim-card with a data plan for their tablet alone? fo realz..just use your phone and make a wifi hotspot if you need it that badly.

If you exceed the storage (wtf) you can just use some app that allows usb hosts to be connected.
