help please

i have a new windows installed and cs4 ps again , already had that

now everything works but when i want to brush or clone or ..
and i always work zoomed in the brush isnt round anymore but becomes scattered , when i not zoom in the brush is normal and round of shape

the problem is i cant see what i'm doing this way i just want my brus round always zo the icon you see when you start to brush

its like when i zoom in on the pic and i have a regulair brush it looks kinda like some sort of effect brush like the grass ones

i have checked everything but i cant find what the problem is , already tried googeling

wanted to work on the comp beetle but everything i do looks like shit , cant brush anymore like this

It might be that your brush size is too large so when you zoom in, it cant show the entire brush.

But yea, post some screen shots lol

Perhaps these settings are tangled?

I have had issues like this on PS5. I just reinstalled and it worked fine. hope you can fix.

i think there is a bug in it , seems the help section isnt working it says reinstall

i think i finally found it , closed the small lock at the brush settings (in the menu like nick showed)
that seems to have done the trick

weird everytime i had ps on the settings where all the same and now everything was screwed

still have to get used to everything again , you know ps becomes like a warm glove that fits you well
after reinstalling its kinda not the same

I have a set of keyboard commands brushes and interface settings that I always add with a new version of PS... otherwise it's un-useable...

Only other thing that it may be.. have you got it set in the preferences thing to "show full size brush tip" ?

I know that hitting caps lock changes the icon on some tools.. Not sure if that would've been of any help on this one though (not on PS right now to test). Also I always recommend once you got your setup (workspace) nice and perfect, save it. You can export the settings as a file, then it's just a matter of re-importing it next time. I'm pretty sure it works for all the settings...
