Registrations - Below Pro Challenge 2012
Hello all!
This is the registrations thread for the inaugural Below Pro Challenge (BPC) 2012 only. Please do not discuss the competition in here, all discussions should take place in the Discussion Thread. You may only compete in one of either the BPC or the ASC - not both!
Only Intermediate and New Artists are allowed to compete in the BPC. The tasks in this competition will be less demanding and less challenging, comparable to the tasks of the Autemo Championships.
Although Intermediate and New Artists are able to compete in the ASC, we highly recommend you compete in the BPC as it will probably be a more rewarding experience for you, and you will have a greater chance of being promoted.
Both the ASC and the BPC will run the same, in a four round competition over approximately six months (starting early August), where competitors will be knocked out each round until a winner is determined. This is identical to the knockout format of this year’s WTB (except it is all individual based knockouts, rather than teams). The final consist of a one vs. one battle to determine this year’s Below Pro Champion. This cutthroat and intense format will encourage our up and coming choppers to improve in an extremely competitive environment.
Realism and feasibility of your entries will be crucial, however we do not discourage displaying artistic flare with your entries.
Voting in the BPC will be undertaken by Pro Tuner and above artists through the regular competitions area. This is to avoid the possibility of people voting for themselves, or people getting their friends to sign up and vote for them.
There will be no prize money for the BPC challenge, however the top three participants receive the following:
