Hi mates, i am looking to buy a new wacom, and ive been looking at the new intuos 5, or the almost new intuos 4, (both M size) and wanted to know if anyone has a 4 or 5 and wath they think about it,
i have £280 budget, i would like someone to post something regarding to wacoms, and give me some advice on wath would be better to buy, or someone that used both 4 or 5's whath they think about them,
thanks for your time :)
I have an intuos3 (hard to believe its so outdated) but it is pretty old. I think I have a 6x11". I can't speak about the intuos 4 vs 5, but if you've never used a Wacom before, you certainly won't be disappointed. I've had mine for about 7 years--NEVER had a problem. Size makes a difference, I'm glad I went with one of the larger sizes at that time. Build quality is perfect and the pens are great. Wacom is the industry standard.

intuos4 4x6" here.

Haven't used a 3 or a 5, so like Josh can't compare, but I prefer the smaller size so I'm just using my wrist instead of my elbow too (Insert pun here). That's personal preference though, I'd try out a couple in a shop first if you can.
Hello.
thanks for the replys mates, i cant try on a shop Jack, as i dont know nay store that sells here, iet ive used a intuos 3 at my old job, and i currently use a bamboo last gen, the red and black (pen imput only), so i know the the 3 was good, and ive read so many people saying the best things out of intuos 4, and not much reviews on the 5 model, as for the size, i dunno if i should keep on the small cause of the same reason Jack mentioned, i dont wanna get tired sketching, but ive heard a bigger model can be more precise due to its LPI beeing spread on bigger pixels (wich by it will be able to produce less jaggy lines), but i defntly need to learn more about these particular models (4 and 5) before buying
I have intuos 4 XL. It does everything i can imagine, however, the size is a bit of a nuisance, wish i got a smaller version... The scroll wheel is especially helpful, along with the paper like surface the intuos 3 lacked
Thank for the info mate, :)
