VW Vento aka Jetta *EDIT - new rims*
bought new in 1992., 1.8l, 90hp, 350000km
long time ago

than I came across vwvortex.com and then it all started
first, joey mod headlights

and done

badge-less grill made from two identical ones because few years ago no company sold this kind of grill(now everyone has it
)

then came bilstein shocks and eibach springs 60/40, perfect combination for everyday car if you ask me,
because of smoked headlights i had to buy smoked turn signals too
and hauben bra (only for looks, no protection for hood at all)
some pics

then friend convinced me that i need bigger brakes to stop properly so we installed 280mm brakes from golf mk2 g60 and it really stops much much better then before
tarox brake discs and ebc green pads
golf 4 GTI pedals and footrest

as i 'smoked' front end of the car, rear needed to be done in same style too, so hella smoked taillights

before

after

so this is how it looked last summer

then winter look on g60 stellies, bilstein and eibach were sold and weitec coilovers replaced them

cheap recaros from golf mk3 gti

wheels were in pretty bad condition

some pics of material used to restore them

and done

installed fog lights and us-style markers in turn signals

these are the pics from few weeks ago

sorry for long post and a lot of pics
thanks for reading
