idea for a new car *** bought a new car (pag.4)

well i'm looking for a "new"car

so far it started out with this list >

1. seat leon top sport or cupra / 1.8 turbo
2. seat ibiza cupra
3. audi tt year 2000 1.8 turbo

but since the gass prices are sky high and the road tax here is based on the weight of a car (the heavyer the car weighs the more tax you pay) , i started too look at small cars ..

so i really really liked the fiat panda 100hp sport , cool looking car in that spec , could fit adjustable suspension ... but they are quit expensive still and well...

so i looked and searched more ... untill i got a crazy ass idea ....

what if i would buy a suzuki wagon r+ with the 1.2 engine (70 bhp)....they are very cheap , can find them with low milage and they weigh nothing (cheap tax) and fuell consumption is soo low

i searched and searched if i could fing the turbo version in holland , sadly i cant find it , would have to import it so thats a lot of trouble

so what if i would buy the r+ 1.2 and then ... go crazy on it >

1. slam it
2. small but uberwide rims (fat lip)
3. streched tyres
4. nice littke stainless exhaust facing slightly upwards at the back
5. new seats and rear bench (stock is soo ugly)
6. nice audio in it

the car already has some plastic arch strips , side skirts , rear spoiler
and the bumpers are nice too , can easely put a lip kit on it myself and paint that

so buy this > example pics but i can find them here in holland looking exactly like this

then make it into something like this wheel / stance wise

3010-ca-dgoo-2-400.jpg

3010-ca-dgoo-1-166.jpg

could do this style , but its gonna be more expensive due too the airsystem , just want to lower it the fixed way

wagon6.jpg

this also looks cool although i would not want such a massive bodykit , would rather keep it more jdm stylish slammed , great rims and cool details

145_01_1.jpg

i looked in japan and there they have soo many cool and never seen before models of these kind of cars some already modded .. not expensive also

but like said thats something thats a bit extreme (importing) for such a car

so what do you think , could be way cool to do , nobody here did it i cant find one single cool kei car in holland

here diesel and glp means double tax , so you would have to drive a lot of miles to profit from the lower gas / diesel price
the miles i do would mean thats even more expensive

thats why i soild my lexus gs300 a while back , gass was just too expensive

i also have a expensive morguege (house)

you pay extra tax for diesel and gas? :/ that sucks.
but I love the suzuki idea, I know you can make a cool car out of it, you jst need some tim€

like you said, not many people have it like that in europe, in fact I've never seen one, maybe if you do it, and join some tuning concentrations, people will start paying you to join them ;)

How about getting the newer Wagon R? It looked a lot better imo.
:awesome:

In short, dont.

Long version; Bad vehicle durability, made worse if you slam/dub it. Base version comes with skinny as fook tires, add rimz and ride quality goes down the toilet. Rim offset will kill your suspension components.

Lets not forget the Suzuki Wagon R is a rebadged Daihatsu. And the next gen got rebadged again into the Opel Agila.
