Damn... just finished watching the film and it's honestly one of the best ive ever seen. has to be in my top 3 without a doubt. It's not everyone's cup of tea, kinda like cloverfield wasn't but the storyline, acting, plot, and cgi was second to none. Anyone else seen it? (not to be confused with district 13)

I've been looking forward to this one. The trailers and everything I've seen on it look pretty good. The CGI is pretty impressive considering they didn't have the ridiculous typical hollywood budget. I'm definitely wanting to check it out.

I've been itching to see this too. It was in theaters quite a while back, never went though. Should be on DVD before too long.

It was really good actually. I'm not a big fan of sci-fi movies but this one I actually liked

I really liked the refugee theme with a twist. The story itself wasn't really mind blowing, seen those kinds of stories in say, Stargåte tv-series. (side note: å is not a )

The visual style, filming and the documentary type story telling in the beginning was really amazing and for me that set it apart from other sci-fi films! Unfortunately the documentary style kind of changed more into traditional action movie story telling towards the end of the film. To me it struck out as a genre shift which is not a good thing in a single movie but luckily it didn't ruin it completely.

I've read somewhere that the director has been hired to direct the movie based on Halo video games. He sure got vision and if he avoids those weird genre shifts I bet he is going to be one of the top sci-fi directors.

its in my top 3 because it's got some powerful underlying morals as opposed to your typical action sci-fi movie such as alien and such. It's reasons like that why i watch a film
