I don't know how this will be perceived here. I'm not really religious, neither am I christian. But somehow, I feel the words speaks to me. I mean, he do have alot of logic mixed up there. Especially I like the part where he says:

One is the work of God one is a man made invention,
One is the cure and one is the infection.
Because Religion says do, Jesus says done.
Religion says slave, Jesus says son,
Religion puts you in shackles but Jesus sets you free.
Religion makes you blind, but Jesus lets you see.

(Although, I would have put the word faith instead of Jesus' name right there).

I really want to know how you feel about this. Might be a sensitive topic for some - and not interesting at all for others.

I like that, genuinely do. Been an atheist for all my life and that really gets to the essence of it all.

trust me a big percentage of religion people are the biggest hypocryts alive

sad but true ...

some examples to back up my statement (and this is the short version because i dont really want to go in to this too deep and long)

1. a priest swears not to have sex and devode his life to ... then a lot of them abuse young children / have sex with minours ...what would be better ? being a priest and fuck somebody (legal age) openly at the same time or abuse a child

2. where i live lots are religious , they are not allowed (a nother stupid made up thing by religion) drive to church in their cars ... so when it rains we go with the car and park it 1-2 streets away from the church and quickly walk the last bit

3. they are religious , go to church , live their life "good" (and the following is based on personal experience) but they tell the sickest sexual jokes when you talk to them , they swear / curse ... (i do but i'm not religious)

basicly imo if you really believe in something and want to be part of something and there are rules involved you should either not join "the club" or be true and ...
its like why try to look so religious when in fact they just put up a fake face really

dont get me wrong i do not have anything against religious people , not against any religion

i do have a problem with religious people when they abuse their religion and like i said > abuse children , bomb places , fly into world trade centers etc etc.

its like only a small percentage of muslims are extreme , i talked to some and know a big part hates the extremists and do not want all that shit to happen

same go's for abuse within church i guess

so be religious if you want i dont care just dont bother others with your religion

i'm no mister perfect , i'm not religious , i can have a big mouth (in real life) , i know my flaws , but in general my norms and values are way better then from a lot of religious people
