I think that the "like" button is little used, now.
So i thought that when an user could be promoted, the other ones can push "Promote" to give him/her a chance to be promoted. The counter could be shown near to the Visit and the Rating ones. Obviously, the
Admin decide if yes or no, but the counter could help him in the decision.

Hope that it be implemented

The promote button used to exist, I'm not quite sure why it was taken down - I think it was perhaps overused and gave admins too much work.

As for the like buttons - i use them Just annoying that you can only like something once every two minutes or so

we had that , was way better then the whole rating / vote system imo
also i think they should pick one or two members who scout for promotions and in corabolation with the rest of staff carry out promotions , i saw a good number of misses lately

not ment offensive or .. i know everybody is busy and cant be everywhere 24/7 but .. maybe a promotion team is an idea ?

i agree, i have thought of that before rich, giving or having admins or just mods with certain tasks.

The promotion button used to be here, but removed like ATC said. People asked for the voting system, and it's now implemented, but people vote almost 10 for every thread, everywhere. So I wonder if admin put the Promotion button back, will people spam it every time?

But, now, the newest rate 10 for each crap or semi-crap that have an high-camber or a colorful wheel or a fluo paintjob. I think that the rating criterion should be:
5: NO
6: accetable
7: good
8: original
9: my god!
10: perfect!

But the system could implemented with the rating, no?

the voting system was to go with the global ranking of finding out the best choppers in the world but with people giving all sorts of ratings I dont think it'll work at all

Yeah, the voting system won't work, because people simply vote 10 on any thread so that people could give them a 10 vote too.
