add a black layer above the object you want it on, then go to filter-noise- add noise, make sure its monochromatic and then just play round with blening effects, btw there is a request thread, post requests there

make small brush, break it to small pieces, make the continuation of the brushing lower and your set
that way you can flatten etc your brush stroke on flowing form and can even put some natural variation to it
you can also set double brush if you want with the same sweep to do two different colors
