great idea (i hope) regarding ........

hi , i know i have been absend for a certain period , i saw the topic of the death of Poland Miecz Design ..
wel i replyed there and this isnt about one idividual ..

it made me think about the fact that Poland .... isnt the first and wont be the last person of the world wide chopping community who died ...
and i also thought , damn i cant even remember the other deaths or names ... and its like people all share a passion , never meet but "speak" to eitch other very often , if not every day ..
it would be very good if staff would make a topic like a tribute to the artist here who passed away ..
like they post it there , with his/hers stats , aditional info and a few of the artists greatest chops / art / works ...
that topic could be closed to avoid replyes witch can be made in a general topic topic , or left open with the possibility to reply and maybe post more chops of the artist that passed away..

everybody could look there from time to time and remember and the art would be saved / remembered..
the people who pass away have contributed to a community etc etc etc .. so this way they wont be forgotten ....

this was just a thought / idea btw and well its not like i'm saying it has to be made , but if its made , staff should make it and think it over and place it in a good spot , stickyed so it wont dissapeir...

rest my case and see ya

Sounds nice, but... the problem is it is often hard to know if someone has died... unless they have been told by a close friend...

How can we possibly know if someone has died? Or just given up chopping.
It's a nice idea, but brings about some problems. Having said that... for the ones we do know about, it would be nice to commemorate them in some way.

I agree in a way and there is also the privacy factor, many users dont want to share too much off themselfs into the public for their own reasons which should be respected.

But as a gesture and if everyone would have their "person" out there it would be ofcourse nice touch, but if it would go down into whole thread dedicated to other chopper and for other it could be impossible to put up because people dont know much about you would be kinda weird.

I think the mainpart is to just hope that all persons around in choppingcommunity would live good and happy life so any of this wouldnt need to be thinked about, but sadly that it is not always the case.

I have to add that it is still so sad to have to lose fellow chopper, feels so empty and hard to really understand in a way. Hard to describe.
