Saying goodbye

Hey guys!

Well, time has come when responsibility and other stuff is taking up much of my time now! So basically I have to wave goodbye to the fantastic years I had in front of Photoshop! It has been some great years that has been shared with the whole chopping community! Its awesome to see how things developed from being small and humble to this - Autemo.com! A forum where people can share their art and even get the chance to make proposals of cars being built!

My friends often say that I wasted a lot of time sitting in Photoshop editing cars, but hey - I think we all know I did not! Even though I still think I pretty much suck - I must say I am satisfied with what I accomplished throughout the years! Starting from being a newbie to being able to get all my ideas out of my head and down on the canvas! That is all thanks to the community! I don’t want this thread entry to be seen as a way to get attention, but I want to use the opportunity to thank a few that have guided me on the path!

Glacius: for being an awesome motivational artist and someone I looked up to from day one!

Active Design: For helping me getting control of more advanced techniques and helping me try out different styles.

Aykut and Gabiel 10: for awesome and fun time doing team chops and hilarious Skype conversations!

Jack Darton: For being a good buddy, and giving me constructive critique from the very first day we got in touch and still do, even though I did and said some arrogant stuff I still regret. And for teaching me that being humble will take you further - accepting yourself for who you are and keep focus on your own goals in life. You have achieved stuff we others dream about, but I know the reason to that comes down to the fact that you are aware of what you want! When your desire becomes a passion, thats when you succeed!

Matthias: Also for giving me constructive critique - but also learning me that true art comes from within. You taught me that it all comes down to the attention you give to the details. I’ve taken this with me in my life - not just when it comes to chopping.

Nibs: You developed from being a total noob (haha sorry!!) to becoming an awesome artist with attention to details! I absolutely love your chops man!

ATC Design: Thanks for all the years we’ve been in touch! Had some great laughs with you and hopefully, we’ll finish that 350z when I have time again!

Hugosilva: You have been the inspiration for me from the day I started. Heck, I even stole parts from your chops on mine first! Haha! Also, thanks for the amusing hours at work posting yo mama jokes! Dude, you ROCK!

T-R: I never actually got to learn how your other nickname was spelt hahaha! TangoRhosgad? Anyways, its awesome to have followed you and see how you went through different styles! I still remember the stuff I learnt from that BMW team chop we did together!

BCS/Andy: Thanks for the support all these years! If there was one guy I always could rely on when it came down to C&C and help, it was this guy! You have proven to me to be a wise man even outside the community! I can honestly say I’m proud of what you’ve accomplished (without sounding gay…).

ToMii: For keeping me up into the late hours and motivating me to keep chopping when the motivation was down at the low! You have improved radically, and it has been a pleasure to watch you grow! I’m following you bro!

Static and J_Hui: For getting me into the photography thing! Thanks for being such a huge inspiration, and I’ve always loved the stuff you deliver! J - I’m sure you’ll be one of the most talked about and greatest photographers - not many years from now!

AeroDesign: Thanks for the awesome convos on Facebook and proving me with that concept drawing years ago that I still haven’t finished hahah! Your concepts are SICK bro! I’m sure we’ll see one of your drawings in a motorshow in the future! Keep it up man!

Nicklas: You danish donor<3 Haha, thanks for all these years! But so sad you had to become an arrogant admin :( Nah - joking! You are AWESOME man! And your contribution to this community is noteworthy! Hoping to see you again if I return!

REC: For giving me the opportunity to be a part of the Killerchop team! Was a pleasure to work with you!

Goncas: for being such a mindblower with those tasty chops! I’m not sure if I can stay away from watching your new creations! Keep them coming!

And least but not last:
MK211 - for giving us this great opportunity to be a part of something big, something extraordinary and awesome! We both know we have stuff I’m working on - but It’s all because of you I chose the path that I did. I’m currently studying Marketing, and my final exam is actually to write a Marketingplan for a self-chosen company!

And to all of you others whom I may have forgotten! Thank you for all these years! And even if Im not posting any chops I might just pop by now and then just to follow on whats going on! As I said I’m currently so busy with school! I’ve also started my own photography/videography/design business that is going really good! I’d had a lot of jobs the first months including three weddings, four website jobs, and three other video stuff!

So, I wish you all good luck with whatever you are going to do in the future, and this is my official «retirement» from chopping - even though I may come back in a while if I’m not too rusty by then and I still can keep up with you other guys!

Yours sincerely, iCandi / Takin Kroop.

Great sharing input and competing with you with chops all these years. Sad to see you go but I too know what you're feeling. I rarely chop at all anymore for those same reasons.

Best of luck and hopefully you pop in here once in a while to say hi :)

Hey Takin,

Sad to see you go! But I understand it's just a part of life, change is inevitable and sooner or later we must all move on from things in our lives. Well mate, we've had good times here, ups and downs included, and I also hope you've learned a lot being a part of the community - in terms of photoshop, friends, photography etc. Most of these skills learned here stick with you and you can take them with you to other parts of your life. With your marketing degree, good luck with it I hope you keep working hard and good things will come out of it.

All the best in your future endeavours, and do keep in touch.

MK
Will be sad to see another chopper that has been in the scene for so long to go, but as you grow up you have less time to chop and go on forums I know this myself.... by.. erm.... being on autemo 24/7 XD, so good luck with the business thingo.

But you'll be back, THEY ALWAYS come back to Autemo B)
