Took 2 minutes to make in photoshop, make sure if you're making floors in future use the perspective tool when you're transforming. Drag the 2 bottom corners out and the 2 top ones in, then free transform and squeeze the whole thing in vertically until it looks right.

and also so far without the background is it looking intermediate enough?

It's difficult to say as it's a rebrush and not something from scratch, however if you were to get rid of the little white blurred streaks on the side to make it look more like your first WIP then it would look more like intermediate than it does now. Sometimes, less is more with reflections on a car. It only takes one tiny little speck of light to make something matte look like it's shiny.
