Wanted to do an old truck,as ive never attempted one before.The truck for me is like 65% done,still needs lots 2 be done.Im not sure if the wheels work with the truck,must i rebrush some parts of it?
The chrome im still gona rebrush.
Is my white refs on the car to strong should it rather be a light yellow?
Its the 1st time Ive posted in wip,but doing it so i can at least improve my chops.
If I leave the refs strong and white,ppl will say its toony,but it will stand out.Brushing a car like this completely tends to end up toony,unless you really got the skill.
I prefer realistic chops,but then i will have to get rid of those white refs hey?

Much better. Now i can comment This is coming along pretty darn good. My dad would love to see this, he's into those kinda trucks (he's got 2x 1942 Ford Jailbar pickups (and a Marmon Herrington), that he's been rebuilding.

You've got the base elements of the brushing down pretty good, you're at that stage where you need to work on reflections and begin working down and removing the tooniness as much you can. Make the grille chrome and lose the spare wheel imo

Find it a more suitable bg to stick it in and try to find higher res donor rims if you can.

Yip thats where the difficult part comes in,making it less toony,ugh...very frustrating.I'll try my best,and I will try and get rid of that spare wheel.
The grille is white coz im using that as base/placeholder until i try and brush it chrome.
Will be workin on a bg,but finding a nice high-res donor for the wheels are always a pain,I have lots of carandmodel pictures,but i dont know if thats hi-res enough and most are tuner car pics.
If any1 got nice wheels for the truck,plz let me know!

just want to get some more feedback,not done but need to put some finishing refs and edit the background.
the grille is a bit dodge must still try and fix it,the base image is small so tryin to brush the grille it from scratch is bit difficult.
