Windows 7 touch ring

Hi all

I am sure this must of come up for people on here, when using my tablet on windows 7 i get the circle/ring to show that the pen is touching the tablet. Does anyone know how to get rid of this but leave my tablet working? As every solution I have found on google disables my tablet also :(

For info, tablet I have is a Trust tb-4200.

Thanks in advance, Greboth.

Well try finding whats causing it, the tablet, the drivers?
Reinstall it all :P
ah i had the exact same problem and it's a pain in the ass I know.

Here's the fix that worked for me, copied straight from the thread I found it in. Do everything that's listed, in that order:

1. First I tried to go to the Control Panel and click on my Pen and Touch settings. Disable both the Press and hold action and theStart Tablet PC Input Panel
2. Next, in the same window under the Flicks tab, uncheck the Use flicks to perform common actions quickly and easily . Press OK to save and close.
3. Next go to the Programs and Features option in the Control Panel . Select theTurn Windows feature on or off option on the left of the window. A new window will open with all the Windows features.
4. Scroll down to Tablet PC Components and uncheck the option. Apply the changes. Windows will do some shit and then ask you to restart for the changes to take effect. Restart and you're done.

I don't know if I'm doing it wrong or what, but that is what it took me to make the Wacom usable. I remember doing something similar in Windows Vista but it wasn't as complicated, I think it was in Tablet PC Settings in the control panel but that dick jackshit for me in Windows 7.
If it still doesn't work...

You need to go to Run (Windows Key + R) type in msconfig and hitEnter . On the pop up go toServices tab. Sort the services by name to make it easier to find. look forTable PC Input Sevice and uncheck it. Leave all other Wacom services as it is. ClickOK and restart. I hope this helps...
