Just thought I'd pass this on here as well in case some of you might be interested in trying out stuff in 3d.

Autodesk is offering FREE 13-month student licenses to 3d software such as Maya and 3dsmax on their website: http://students.autodesk.com/?nd=home

You will need to register at their site with your school e-mail. I'm not sure about all the criteria (probably just the school's name and the e-mail address is to verify that). My registration went through without any problems. I got Maya11 on my computer now.

Sure do! So far I've only seen Canberra and some of Sydney. Can't wait for the semester break to start so I can travel around.
