Have you ever wondered what the oldest website is?
http://info.cern.ch/ is the oldest website ever, and was created in 1990. You can find a lot of additional information.
However, you could already register domains in 1985. So, technically symbolics.com is the oldest website.

Very interesting for me atleast, just while I had to make a rapport about Web 2.0 etc.

I've been to the CERN, where they invented the www some weeeks ago.
They have quite an interesting museum there, which also partly shows the history of the web.

I've come across this along time ago, it's cool history imo, I also recall seeing a picture of the worlds very first web server posted somewhere on there too. Tim berners lee is the guy who created html and hence www. They say that if he had thought a way of making money out of the internet back then, he would make Bill Gates look like a pauper. Respect to him.
