Hi everyone, ever since i joined autemo I've been wanting to do a new chop but just haven't found the time to do it because like I've mentioned to some of you I'm a married grandpa who enjoys chopping but got to do it after hours when everyone is asleep...lol i tried starting a new truck project but since it was taking too much time i dropped it. So i have decided to do a simple chop through this section to get you guys feed back and hopefully it will also give me an extra incentive to finish it even with the time constraints. So here are the basic images. The first one is the car i'll use as a base for the re-brush which is a VW Rabbit, then comes the background which is a Convention Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico the country i am from. And the other two images are going to be use to combine some elements for the body kit and the wheels from the Bently. So i look forward to your comments and suggestions and also to making some new friends along the way. Cheers everyone! :-b

sorry, well, here it is. This is what i have so far. a lot of work still needs to be done. The front wheel is just shapes so no highlights or shadows have been worked into it and the rear wheels is still the base without any work done to them yet. Same goes for the headlights which only have the base in place for me to re-brush. As you can see i went with a black top an bonet (no carbon) and went for green accents with the wheels seats and roll cage. There is also plenty of work yet to be done as far as reflections and things of that nature but hopeully it will all come together in the end. What you guys think?

You are absolutely right about the side skirt. That is one of those places on the chop where i haven't done any reflection work yet. Good eye

love how you integrated the bodykit into the vw, it looks sweeeet!
but the front lip area and skirt still looks a bit toony, it needs some more highlights or refs. maybe some refs on the hood too!!

but that looks damn awesome already, keep going!!
