This is for Photoshop, I'm not too sure how you'd do it on other editing programs. Let me know if you have any questions.

Nice tutorial mate! I used to use this technique, the only issue i had was the front shadow always looked too sharp. Now I use a mix of brushes and selection.
But what i learnt from chopping is to add a slight feather to the selection like in your tutorial then play around with warping and done!

Thanks! There is an extra step I occasionally do but didn't include in there since the bumper should make a sharp shadow in that case, where I use motion blur at 90* and a low distance of 10-30 (I should have mentioned that in there, oops!)
