It wouldn't be eligible for the competition anyways. Your base is copyrighted render which you should never ever do. Also if you wanted to make a Mustang racecar you should have started it from a Ford, not a Mercedes.

Really ? The whole concept of virtual tuning is about modify pictures in photoshop, can you post me one chop that isnt from a copyrighted base picture ? o.O

Maybe 10% here are free licensed pictures, and it's like that from years.

Well, the problem is that the base is a Virtual Tuning itself, and you just don't do that nor copy parts from another person's Virtual Tuning. Disrespect towards other's work, stealing if you will (unwritten rule, sort-of). And as for the competition if I remember correctly, you had to take a currently racing car(make) and create their racing car for the next year.

First of all it's not only copyrighted, but the base is basically another artist's virtual tuning and that is against the rules on this site.

Second of all, he said it was done for the 3rd round of the competition. Maybe read what the comp is about, so you can understand why I said what I said.

Think a tiny bit before you go off on people spouting bullshit.

There is a lot of cars chopped here that are renders or concepts by other visual artist, maybe it's not that right but I don't think there is a lot of trouble for the base render if the chopper dont make any profit with the result..

Round 3 of the comp ? Ok, I don't find anything about the theme, maybe I'm blind and i'm sorry if it the case.

The chop is nice and have greats idea, only commenting to say that is not the best way, for me, to keep members posting and creating chops.

If roobi do the same, everyone would shut the F and congrats him.

Edit : Thanks for adding the theme of the comp, I understand a little more now, I just find the post a bit harsh in the first place, it's just a hobby and some new members don't think they are doing something bad, or i'm just an old guy who get offended easily cause my english is not the best.. x)
