This is what I work with.



Macbook Pro (late '11)
OS X 10.9 Mavericks
16GB RAM
500GB HDD + 250GB SSD, combined to one 750GB Fusion Drive

I replaced the DVD drive (which I just use once in a while for ripping my bought music CDs) with the SSD myself.
And as Apple only offered the Laptop with a max of 8GB of RAM I ordered the 4GB version, and swapped it with 2x 8GB.

no mate bought all on different ebay stores, pretty much like freshtech, but i think freshtech didnt post to northern ireland,
