In the mean time, here is part 2. It covers some basic things to look out for and think about with simple outdoor lighting. As with the last tutorial, the PSD is included in the video description.
Again, try to think about the colours you're using, and work out what the represent and what causes them.
Notice what areas appear dark (like areas pointing upwards - you might not expect this) and which are light. Notice what has the most vibrant colour etc.
Work along, and try and recreate the same effect yourself.
