GT-R Creations - VW Mk4 Jetta/Bora
Hi everyone!
It's been forever since I came on the forum.. Been quite caught up with life these days and ended up being a dad of a wonderful daughter of 18 months old (Aiyana) AND also engaged... yep life lool
But oh well, I thought I'd share the Daddy's ride.
A bit of Story... Being fan of VW myself, I wanted to ally family with the Golf without going to Estate ground. So I went for the Mk4 Jetta/Bora. Looking at some ads on Gumtree/eBay, I saw this "close to mint" 2000 VW Bora which was for sale by a garage at eBay aunction. I traveled from Paris to London (coach) then London to West sussex (National Rail) where the car was. There was 2 things amazing about this car:
Some spec:
Actual mods:
Next mods: Have a look at the render for idea. As for other mods:
And that's it!! Here are some pics
Enjoy

Looking at some ads on Gumtree/eBay, I saw this "close to mint" 2000 VW Bora which was for sale by a garage at eBay aunction. I traveled from Paris to London (coach) then London to West sussex (National Rail) where the car was. There was 2 things amazing about this car:
- One is the servicing; I bought the car with mountains of receipts that includes new clutch, new OEM coilovers, bushes and extras as the VW Workshop stamps for 80% of its life time before me and the next 20% to a VW/Audi/Porsche workshop. There was no spare on this car; it's been well taken care of.
- The Second thing is the price... I won the bid and bought the car.... £800 (980€) !!?? For the same car with that standard in France; it's minimum 3.500€... I thought it was too good to be true... though the description said that the windscreen was cracked but that's about it!
Some spec:
- VW Bora/Mk4 Jetta SE(Dec 2000)
- Grey Metalic
- TDi 115 / 6 Speed Manual
- 176.800 Miles (Mainly motorway and it was 173.000 before my ownership)
Actual mods:
- Bi-Xenon H4 8000k
- LED lights (boot, number plate, interior, headlights)
- Aluminum brushed Air-con/Heater switch
Next mods: Have a look at the render for idea. As for other mods:
- Big servicing (OEM Timebelt kit, oil filter, etc...)
- French papers (Yeah don't ask why I have a UK spec car in France... I just do lool)
- Mk4 R32 interior (Or GTi Anniversary)
- Remap with 996 C4 calipers setup
- New Aluminum headligh switch with Auto mode
- Aluminum electric window swich
And that's it!! Here are some pics

Enjoy
