Looks good so far, nice color of choice . Door lines/gaps look edgy though , use smooth brush (1px)

I can't work out if the BG is off or whether it is just the position of the car. I think it might fit better if you rotate the car a few degrees clockwise.

Brushing looks like it is going in the right direction. You need some more variances in colour and a few more value gradients as the side is looking flat at the moment.
