Unfortunately, people don't seem to reply as quick as we would like - fifteen minutes isn't so long to wait

The WIP:
Not looking bad so far - some cool ideas, especially that crazy bonnet vent
The backdrop would look really cool too, but the van is a bit too low down on the image, so the perspectives don't quite work

I see you have started brushing too, but you need to make sure you include the lighting and highlights similar to the base so that the shapes of the car can be seen. It's also important to realise that shadows are never black, and shouldn't be surrounding the entire bonnet like that - again check the base
Anyway, good luck with the rest of this chop, I hope to see more updates soon

PS: Yes, that lip on the right is painted on it ussr flag.

Looking kinda crazy now. I still don't understand why there is a blurry black shadow all around the bonnet

Only thing left to fix now is to make sure all the hues match up. Some of your blacks/ dark greys have an orange colour (like most of the image) but others are much more bluey green (like the bonnet strip) - make sure these all match.

Also make sure that parts are not too black - the blackest part should really be inside the shadow of the grille, yet the oil cooler pipe which would be reflecting light is a darker colour - lighten this up a bit
