levels

how do you get to move up levels - intermediate, beginner, etc
do you have to be able to brush a car for pro or over brush for intermediate?
Or is it if they think your work is up to scratch they move you up?

the day you stop caring about levels, is the day youll start focusing on actually improving your skills

moral, just have fun chopping and naturally youll improve and be promoted
There are no certain criteria or requirements that you'll have to meet in order to be promoted. It's simply based on your chopping abilities, and those are quite individual from person to person, which is why there is no exact definition.

Also what Hugo said^
For New Chopper Area what is mainly looked at is if they possess the basic techniques in order to move on.
Intermediate more or less is the golden standard. You are able to do the common modifications. In order to move on to Pro Tuner you'd really have to start impressing with ideas of your own and really be past the common mistakes.
From Pro and onwards it becomes less about technique and more about execution and originality.

None of these criteria are easily quantifiable so that's where judges/moderators come in.
